Biofeedback

Biofeedback is a mind-body technique that uses visual or auditory feedback to gain control over involuntary body processes, such as heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, sweating, body temperature, and even brain waves.  Biofeedback is a great tool to use in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities to assist in relaxation, stress management, trauma management, fight-or-flight reaction control, ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and more.

The process can take from 30 to 60 minutes and would involve one or more devices to track body functions.  The number of sessions can vary from 4 to 20, depending on the need of the client.

Biofeedback is an evidence-based treatment that allows clients to take charge of their health, feel empowered, and be in control.

This treatment can be used in conjunction with individual therapy received elsewhere.
