I graduated from Friends University with my Master of Science in Marriage and Family
Therapy. This means I take a holistic view of my client’s situations, and firmly believe
that problems do not reside solely with the individual but rather is created by the
interplay of an ecosystem of factors – relational, familial, cultural, etc. Therefore, I
collaborate with clients on solutions that are multidimensional and unique. Using this
perspective, I work with individuals, couples, and families to explore life’s challenges
and work toward goals together.
I am Level 1 certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, a method backed by
decades of research on what makes relationships successful. I am experienced with
several different models of therapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal
Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Solutions-Focused Therapy,
and more. I have completed the Zero Suicide Training and Columbia Suicide Severity
Rating Scale Training and have experience in crisis situations.
