Krista Reed, LSCSW is passionate about her work with families and children ages 6 and up, including teens and young adults. She approaches her work from the standpoint that each person deserves to be heard and to have an advocate, no matter what their circumstances. She loves people and upholds her relationships with her clients as a vital part of the healing process. Krista draws on a range of professional experiences working in inpatient hospital settings, schools, kinship placements and adoptions. She also employs a variety of approaches including play, art and mindfulness activities, as well as yoga in her work with clients.

Krista graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 with a Bachelor’s of Social Work and from Newman University in 2008 with a Master’s of Social Work. She is a Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist and a professional member of the TLC Foundation for Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors and a graduate of TLC’s Professional Training Institute. Krista is also a board member with Kansas Infant Death and SIDS Network, as well as a professional member of the American Association of Suicidology.
